CALGARY HOUSING MARKET SHOWS SIGNS OF BALANCE, according to figures released today by the Calgary Real Estate Board (CREB®).
The Calgary Real Estate Board (CREB) reports the average selling price for a Calgary single family home in February was $458,254, up 3.86% from the previous month. The median price was $411,000, up 3.2% from the previous month. The average time to sell a Calgary single family home was 34 days compared to 43 days from the previous month . New Calgary MLS® Listings were up for single family homes in February. Calgary Metro added 2,154 new single family home listings to the Calgary MLS® system and 1,035 single family homes sold, up by 273 units from the previous month.
The Calgary Real Estate Board (CREB) reports the average selling price for a Calgary condo in February was $282,880, almost unchanged from the previous month. The median price was $265,900, up $900 from the previous month. The average time to sell a Calgary condo was 43 days compared to 50 days the previous month. New Calgary MLS® Listings were up for condos in February. Calgary Metro added 1,109 new condo listings to the Calgary MLS® system, up 158 units from the previous month & sold 536 Calgary condos, up 160 condos from the previous month.
